SBI PO Selection Process 2020

The complete selection process of SBI PO are explained below:

  • Fill SBI PO Application Form

For SBI PO 2020 registrations, candidates first need to fill in addition to post the application shape in online mode on the reliable website of the bank. Thereafter, applicants also need to pay the SBI PO utility charge in on-line mode via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

  • Download SBI PO Admit Card/ Call Letter

Applicants can download SBI PO 2020 admit card from the official website of the bank. Separate admit cards are issued for preliminary, mains and institution exercises and interviews. It can be noted that no hard copy of the call letter may be sent by post.

 

  • Appear for SBI PO preliminary examination

Next, applicants want to appear for the preliminary examination at the allocated examination center. The preliminary examination will be for the one-hour duration and applicants need to answer questions related to topics such as the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning capability.

  • Appear for SBI PO Mains examination

Applicants qualifying the preliminary examination then need to appear for SBI PO 2020 Mains examination. applicants 10 times the number of vacancies are shortlisted for the mains examination. The Mains examination contains both objective and descriptive questions that applicants need to complete in a total duration of three hours and 30 minutes.

  •  SBI PO institution exercises & Interview

Applicants qualifying the Mains examination then need to appear for the final phase of the selection process which is organization exercises & interviews. applicants up to three times the number of vacancies are shortlisted for the group exercise and Interview.

  • Check final SBI PO result

Applicants clearing the very last phase of group exercises and the Interview will then be eligible for recruitment in SBI as a PO.

SBI Clerk Salary 2020

Basic Pay – The starting basic pay is Rs 27,620 (with 4 advance increments).

Pay Scale – 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020 applicable to Junior Management.

Allowances – DA, HRA/Lease rental, CCA, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules.

Compensation – The total compensation per annum on the CTC basis is a minimum of 8.20 lakhs and a maximum of 13.08 lakhs depending on the place of posting and other factors.
